Moongdal payasam



First dry roast 1 Cup of Moongdal lightly and cook well with water
Then add 1 cup of grated Jaggery, stir well till dissolves


Then Keep the flame in low, Add pre-boiled Cow's milk or Coconut milk
and 1/4 tsp of Cardamom powder
Stir well and boil it in medium flame.
Off the stove And
Add fried Cashews and raisins with 2 spoon of ghee in it.
Stir well .

Serve hot or chill.

Do not add hot ghee in Hot gheer while boiling,
milk may curdle.

Here I  Cooked the dal not so messy.
But we can cook the dal in cooker , mash and follow the same 
recipe for the best taste

Can follow the same recipe with 
Bengalgram(Chana dal)
or 
Toor dal
which tastes good too..
