Ingredients
Bengal gram flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Oil - 3/4 cup
Method
Dry roast flour till warm and off the stove.
Heat ghee and oil together till luke warm.
In a heavy bottom vessel, add sugar and water and mix till 1/2 string consistency.
Then sprinkle flour and mix well without lumps. Stir well in medium flame till flour is lightly cooked.
when bubbles starts,
Add some ghee + oil and stir well in medium flame.
When the flour absorbs ghee, add again ghee + oil, likewise repeat the process till flour is cooked and ghee starts coming at sides.
When ghee starts coming out, pour in a ghee greased tray,
set and cut....
