Method
Aapam Batter:
Soak
1 cup idli rice
1 cup raw rice
1/4 cup Urad dal
for 2 hrs.
Then grind it to a batter with 1/2 cup scrapped coconut and 1/2 cup cooked rice.
Make a smooth batter.
Add salt, let it ferment for 8 hrs.
Then while preparing , add 2 pinches of soda salt and make the batter in dosa batter consistency.
For Prawns:
Marinate prawns with some gingergarlic paste, chillypowder, salt and turmeric powder for 1/2an hour.
Finely chopped 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1/2 cup chopped prawns.
Heat some oil in a kadai, add onion saute, then tomato saute, then Prawns and saute for 2 mts.
Add a pinch of cumin powder, 1/4 tsp of chilly powder, 1/2 tsp of dhaniya powder and salt, Mix it and add some water.
Let the raw smell goes and leave till it gets dry.
Sprnkle coriander leaves, Allow it to cool.
Add egg to the cooled mixture and mix well.
Then in aapa kadai, pour a laddle of batter, roll around asusual.
Add some Prawns mixture and roll well.
sprinkle oil, cover and cook.
Serve hot.
