Ingredients
Bajra flour- 1 cup
Grated jaggery - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
( I used jaggery instead of sugar)
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cashews
Cardamom - 3
Method of preparation
In heavy bottom kadaai, add in ghee, bajra flour and cashews. Stir well in medium flame.
When it is half done, on other side add 1/2 cup water to jaggery and let it dissolve .
When it starts boiling, keep in low flame.
When the flour gets fried ( tips: when the color of cashew turned brown , it means flour also fried )
Keep in low flame, add in jaggery water by keep on stirring.
With in 1 or 2 mts, Alva comes to rolling stage.
Off the stove.
