Method of preparation
1. Make a paste with 1 cup coconut, few cashewnuts, 1 tsp of Poppy seeds and Aniseeds.
2. Heat kadai, add some oil and season 2 cinnamon sticks, cloves, Bayleaves and cardomom.
Addin chopped 1 cup of onion, 6 green chillies, saute .
Add in 1 tsp of gingergarlic paste, saute for a while.
Add in cleaned and chopped 1/2 kg chicken and saute well in medium flame.
Then add a laddle of curd and salt , mix well.
Close with lid and cook till chicken is 3/4 th done.
Adding curd in this stage makes chicken juicy, soft and tasty.
3. When the chicken is 3/4th ready, add the grounded coconut masala, chopped coriander leaves and cook till done.
Serve with Poori, Ghee rice, Roti, Dosa.....
